About Us

What is Project Flashlights?

Project Flashlights is a youth-led social impact organization working at the intersection of education, dignity, and community transformation.

At Flashlights, we recognize that poverty is not merely an economic condition,
it is deeply linked to limited access, reduced exposure, and the absence of enabling ecosystems. Our work, therefore, goes beyond education delivery. We design and implement community-centered interventions that restore confidence, unlock potential, and create pathways for long-term change.

Over the years, Flashlights has grown from a volunteer-driven initiative into a structured, community-powered institution. Registered as Flashlight Welfare Society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Certified under 80G, enabling transparent and accountable giving.

Our work spans initiatives such as community learning spaces, fellowship programs, urban inclusion efforts, and civic action campaigns rooted in a single belief:

Real change happens when communities are not just supported,
but empowered to lead their own transformation.

Join us at Flashlights and help us create a brighter future for underprivileged children. Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those who need it most.

Mission: To ensure every child has equal access to learning, exposure and opportunities to live a dignified life.

We're on a mission to help all your problems
