Volunteers

As a part of flashlights I got the opportunity to volunteer, be a teacher, be a writer, to be a backend support, and much more. I have not only made some difference in the life of slum kids, but also developed as an individual. I thought about those children but also learnt many things from them. I got to know the hardships those kids are facing, then experienced also how our team collectively tried to lessen those hardships. Flashlights not only provide education to slum kids, but make them an asset for growing up in the ladder of the society.

It has been a great experience with Flashlights. Working with children has been particularly delightful for me. Witnessing the excitement it creates in them to learn is truly heartwarming. Not only do the children, but our entire team is extremely supportive, which allows us to work together harmoniously. I am grateful for the opportunity to volunteer with such a fantastic organization.

My experience with Flashlights so far has been too great. It has made me more virtuous with time ,teaching kids ,knowing the issues they are facing and still trying to head up towards education has been the moral push for us to keep on going through this path and also repay at least 0.1% of the debt that we have towards our society.

I am working with team flashlights from last 1 year 6 months and it was a wonderful experience, where I started handling the outer work and operation work and now as an operational head of different projects. With all the motivating and supporting teammates, I have been able to enhance my ability to work well with people. Working with team Flashlights is itself a great opportunity to "Be the change what you want to see in this world".

Joining flashlights made me realise my worth and potential and gave me potential to cope up with life challenging experiences and make worth of my life.

Overall experience in Flashlights is amazing. It teaches me how little efforts can change lives. The mere thought that my little effort is making a difference in the lives of so many is enough to make me feel good about myself.

Mujhe har cheez seekhne ka shouk hai or isliye mujhe bahut sari cheeze aati bhi hai other activities se lekar padai tak or in sb ko kisi jaroortmand ko sikhaya jaye isse achchha or kya hi hoga to ye padane or sikhane ka mouka mujhe PROJECT FLASHLIGHTS ke zariya se mila . Is anubhav ko shabdo mai baya krna thoda mushkil hoga pr yah anubhav sirf jiyaa ja skta hai un pyare bchcho ke sath. ❤

Flashlights Fellowship was a sense of Joy, awakening and happiness. It showed that even the smallest actions of you take makes an impact. It was all in all a fulfilling experience and I met some of the best people through this internship. Even the smallest of the things and effort counts and this internship taught me that. These three months have been very fulfilling for me and I feel like I did my part towards this world albeit through small steps. Thank you Flashlights.

Slum fest is an excellent initiative aiming for social inclusion and community building. I had the pleasure of attending the Slum fest and was blown away by the talent and energy of the kids. It was heartwarming to see the smiles on their faces as they performed on stage. I would highly recommend joining Flashlights to anyone looking for an uplifting and inspiring work towards community.
